Some time ago, I sold my old TV BOX to a friend - the H96 Max +. For me, the Box worked fine on Wi-Fi (UPC) as well as Via Ethernet.
A colleague previously used an old PC to watch movies and shared internet with Xiaomi Mi A1 Via USB.

Another "weakness" of this type of connection is the fact that the Internet works faster via USB.
